Linksys CLI

Query devices, DHCP reservations and port mappings on your Linksys router. Use the terminal or connect your AI agent.

What it does

Devices: List router-reported connections, names, IPs and MAC addresses; look up a device by ID or MAC.
DHCP: List fixed addresses and prepare a reservation plan. Review it before applying. Real writes still await live validation.
Port mappings: Query single-port and port-range rules, including VPN gateway mappings. Editing is not yet supported.
Router: Read model and firmware information; check authentication and configuration. Return structured JSON for scripts.

Ways to use it

Source access is required while the repository is private. Bun is required, including when installing a local package with npm. No public npm release yet.

Run from an authenticated checkout, or install a local package.

Compatibility

Read operations verified on Linksys Velop MX4200, firmware 1.0.13.216903. Other models and firmware versions are unverified. MCP exposes read-only tools.
